CIA, QIAL, CRMA, CGAP, CFE, is the CAE for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the largest public transportation Agency in North America and one of the largest in the world. Its Operating budget exceeds $15 billion and its capital budget exceeds $5 billion annually. At the MTA, Mike have a Staff of 85 professional Internal Auditors. Mike has 39 years of Internal Auditing experience starting out with Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now Chase Bank), ITT a global conglomerate, where he was performed Procurement Audits of government contracts several billions of dollars. Such projects included Audits of NASA, the Army, Air Force and the Voyager 1 Project. Mike is currently the President of the IIA Internal Foundation. He was recently on the IIA North American Board and currently serves on the IIA Executive Committee and Global Board. Mike is a sought after passionate and energetic speaker, receiving the highest ratings. He has spoken at the last 4 four IIA International Conferences and the IIA All Star Conference. He is the top speaker on the CIA Certification and has recently participated on the three person task force to update the study material. Mike is also an Adjunct Professor for Pace University where for the past eight years, he teaches the IIA Learning System for the Certified Internal Auditor Exam
